This session will provide context about the changing work and roles of Iowa school librarians over the past 10 years using geographically mapped data from the annual Iowa School Library Survey and Iowa Department of Education Basic Educational Data Survey (BEDS). Data will be discussed in terms of its implications for teaching information literacy to high school students and its relevancy to college readiness.
